Chris Simsek

I have played at academy level from the ages of 8 to 20, at Championship Level with Charlton, Bristol City, League 2 Forest Green, and Bristol Rovers, including trials with Empoli FC and Genoa FC (Italy), one Turkish Club, and four other UK Clubs. I then went on to play at the professional and semi-professional level in England for the next 14 years. Then, for the past few years, I have been a player, player-coach, and manager, transitioning into coaching and management. I have spent the last 18 years in a high-level environment, where I have been exposed to coaching and mentoring methods at an elite level.

If you could tell your younger self one piece of soccer advice, what would it be?
Don’t chase names or titles, chase game time. The more you play, the more you gain.
Form is temporary, Class is permanent.
