Competitive soccer at OBSC

Our competitive teams — Apollo (boys) and Waves (girls) — are led by professional, licensed coaches. The season runs the full year: August to November in the fall, February to May in the spring.

Teams generally train two evenings a week, with additional sessions at each coach’s discretion. Most teams play in the Florida Club League, with four home and four away games a season, eight regular-season games in all. Teams also enter tournaments at each coach’s discretion, which may or may not fall inside the regular season.

Tryouts

Tryouts take place each year in the first week of May — two evenings for girls and two for boys. Registration is completed through our online system beforehand, and a birth certificate and a passport-style photo must be uploaded at the time of registration. We are unable to accommodate walk-ups on the day.

Dates, age groups and the full schedule are on the tryouts page.
